Listening to Christmas music, and enjoying the beautiful weather, watching Mike cook on the grill and Stella get her leash tangled around everything. That's Christmas in Biloxi. Our hearts however, are firmly in New England.
Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly love our life on the road and wouldn't change a thing. But honesty is the best policy and this blog is about our life on the road; The good, the bad, and the ugly. Being away from our family..that's the bad, especially our kids and grandkids, that's the really bad. In the interest of full disclosure, it really was nice to walk the beach today, that's the good. And the ugly, well we haven't seen much ugly; Thank God!
I know we don't have the snow that usually goes with our Christmas, but we do have white sands, so there's that. And the campground and campers here have decorated to the point where you can't help but feel the Christmas Spirit. Again, the RV community really is fantastic. Here are some photos to prove it.
We didn't decorate our camper the way we were going to, but we did what we could, and I expect as the years go by we will get better. You'll notice the Christmas candle with a glass of eggnog. We also made ourselves some Gluehwein, and used our cups from Germany. Also Stella clearly watching something Christmasy... and who could forget about Fredd?!
There is alot more to come about our stay here, and we'll get to that in another post. But today I just wanted to share with you our Christimas. To let you all know, that even tho we are 1500 miles apart, you are never far from our thoughts. Here's hoping that you had a Merry Christmas! Love you all!
Until our next installment... Be well, Be happy and Safe Travels.
Merry Christmas and hope your New Year is going to be great. Love to you three. Ma M
Awesome! Christmas in AZ is similar but without the ocean!
